Day 3: Judges 11 – The Unnamed Daughter

Today I pose this question, what drives you? What pushes or motivates you to live life the way you have for this long? Is it a need to acquire material things? or do you continuously search for approval as a reassurance? Is it the need to show others that you can do this on your own? or Is it the fear to step out into something completely out of your comfort zone?

Whatever your reason is, it may have at some point in your life become the driving force behind how you have lived your life. My friend how far have you gotten in life by letting it drive you? Has it been worthwhile or has it become a repetitive, tiring, stressful journey that makes you feel like a total failure at the end of the day.

Press that restart button and reset.

Maybe somewhere along the way you have allowed yourself to be overwhelmed by so many activities in-order to make your mark as a single woman, that you have gotten lost in the midst of all the noise that have managed to crowd in and drown out your true purpose.

I encourage you to take a pause, hit the reset button and find your purpose but cutting out all those unnecessary activities. As you ask the Lord to show you how to do this, may you find the hope and the strength to carry on, remember, as it says in Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him, in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You (The Woman’s Study Bible NKJV).

The Lord bless and keep you through this journey.

Day 4, Is there really more to life than just here and now?
